CoVID-19 has dominated Congress for most of the year.

WASHINGTON - As the nationwide Corona virus says it is forced to reconsider its efforts to restart, Congress is still struggling to tackle epidemics because it has taken over the legislative business. Occupy and its members are at risk.

CoVID-19 has dominated Congress for most of the year, yet legislators are arguing over wearing masks, not social distance. And congressional leaders have refused to make the corona virus test mandatory for lawmakers in their home states.

Recent setbacks have affected a handful of lawmakers and sent several others into quarantine, with US Capital welcoming more than 500 lawmakers to the House and Senate this week. On Tuesday night, one of the oldest members of the Senate, Sen. Chuck Grassley, became the latest senator to announce a positive test.
